First Review: Percy Jackson and The Olympians Series

One of my favorite parts of the Percy Jackson and the Olympian series is when Percy is on a field trip at a museum.  Everyone is outside eating lunch and Percy goes inside  the museum to use the bathroom.  He runs into his math teacher who suddenly turns into a bat like creature.  His Latin teacher comes in and throws Percy a pen that turns into a sword.  He then kills his math teacher.

The Percy Jackson and the Olympian series is about a 12 year old boy named Percy Jackson who gets sent from boarding school to boarding school.  One day he over hears his best friend Grover and his Latin Teacher talking about a strange camp.  A little while later he goes on a trip to the beach with his mom.  That night his friend Grover comes to the beach house.  Grover tells him and his mom that they are in danger and need to get in the car and drive to Camp Half Blood.  From there the author Rick Riordan takes you on a fun and exciting adventure through Greek mythology that is unlike any history lesson you will ever have.

If you like Harry Potter then you will definitely like the Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Sincerely,

Gravy Pot

I really enjoyed how your review not only gave a great preview of the book, but also showed us your favorite part. That makes it more personal. This book sounds crazy, but in a good way! WHOOOO! Why does Percy kill his math teacher though? The details you told us are really intriguing and I like how you didn't say too much! Niice
